D~I~S~N~E~Y
I'm going to wait until I get all of my photopass pictures back to post a full trip report, but we're baaack! It was a ton of fun as Disney usually is. (Except for our last trip when AW got the stomach virus.) We went with David's sister and her family and his brother and his family. There were 12 of us and we made our mark, let me say!! :-) We ended up doing Magic Kingdom 3 days and Animal Kingdom, Disney Studios, and Epcot one day each. I will post more later, but here are a few fam pics...

Thankful for it all!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday with my parents and David's side of the family. I am so blessed! My sister in law is the hostess with the mostess...literally! They had new puppies, so the kids spent a lot of time playing with them.

Impulsive....
We went to visit my sweet grandparents in North Alabama last weekend. Little did we know, we would come home with a new puppy. All year, I've heard,"We are the only ones in the WHOLE school who don't have a pet." Blah, blah, blah. David and I have said time and time again, we weren't getting a dog until we move to the country.
Lookie, lookie what we did.........
There was this pitiful 9 year old boy who drug his puppy to the park to meet my kids. I think he had a plan. I think we had, "sucka" written all over our faces. He reeled us in with stories of people wanting to cook her and eat her....to...telling us 3 or 4 ways that he got her. He was a precious child, really. I wanted to take him home with me, wife beater tee and all. He told me there were 9 people living in his tiny house.
We ended up with our sweet Dixie, who I am starting to like, darnit. David gave him 20 bucks and I told him to hide it from his mom. She was a little scary looking. Dixie is a "Chiweiner" dog. She appears to be a mix b/w a Chihuahua and a weiner dog. She is cute, she is sweet. She loves to lick and snuggle. We are smitten. Oh, well................

Minnie Mouse birthday party
I'm not a good party planner. I'm not. We are heading to Disney in a few weeks, so I decided to use an outfit we already had(my husband loved this) and create a theme from it. A little bit Minnie Mouse...a lot park, mud, and wind. :-)
The cake got a little smashed on the hike from the parking lot to the pavilion at the park. ...so when Copeland stuck his finger in the icing before the cake was cut, no one noticed the dent. He is 8...and yes, he still does stuff like that.
Thanks to all that came out to celebrate with us!

Better late than never...our beach trip in August...
Well, we spent a week in Gulf Shores in August before the boys went back to school. We joined my parents, my sister's family, and some great friends of ours stayed right down the street. It was a beautiful week and looking at these pictures is making me "beach-sick"!!!
A Dub and her good friend Mollie.Copie spent most of his time doing this...
Ann Welch took a nap on the beach every day. Around 2:00 she would crawl in either mine or David's lap and conk out. Here she is with my chub-a-wub nephew, Walker.
