I'm sure you were on the edge of your seat waiting for more pics from baseball games...huh!! Since I usually have my camera there, it's a great time to snap some pics. Here is my dad buying AW a slushy at the ball park. She starts asking for food from the concession stand the minute we get there.Shoveling in the popcorn...so dainty and ladylike...

THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY DAY TODAY...Today, AW said, "...when I drow up I wanna be a mommy." That was just music to my ears. I said, "AW, that is the very BEST thing you can be."
After I worked out at the Y this morning, I followed my "Summer schedule" of taking the kids to the pool after my workout. I packed towels, snacks, waters, my swimsuit, sunscreen, floaties, water toys, goggles, etc, trying to remember everything. Well, as I started to pull it all out, I realized I had forgotten AW's swimsuit. I just sat there for a minute trying to decide what to do.
Option # 1...Let my pride get in the way and load everyone in the car and head home. I seriously considered this people, what kind of mommy am I??
Option # 2....Put on the blue swimmy diaper and let her swim in that. For those of you who know my obsession with fashion, you know it was so hard for me to swallow my pride and let her swim in only a swimmy diaper in front of all the peeps at the Y. A navy blue swimmy diaper at that!!
Well, I chose option #2 and made sure to announce to the "crowd" as we entered to pool area that I'd forgotten her swimsuit. One lady piped up that she had an extra one I could borrow. That was really sweet, but I declined. I had a plan. David always comes to the Y to workout during lunch. I called my sweet husband and asked how badly he wanted to do me a huge favor. He was feeling especially nice today, so he stopped by the house and picked up her swimsuit on the way to the Y. Well...it's not really on the way...it's maybe a 5 minute detour. So he scored some major brownie points and AW had a swimsuit to wear for most of our swim...no more redneck baby...it's all good!!

I think I'm gonna order a HUGE print of this one of my boys...love it!!Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend everyone!!!

So Christine and I braved the high high humidity and took the bunch to the Zoo today. Ya know, it's the kind of humidity you expect in August, the kind where you are wiping your brow every 5.5 seconds, the kind where you have to suck hard to breathe. But...all in all we had a great time. One of Ford's good buddies walked in right as we were getting there so that made him super happy! Ann Welch insisted on pushing the double stroller herself. We brought it b/c of Copie's "injury". I don't know why I quoted that he is injured. I guess I just like to use quotation marks. I made him an appt. with an Orthopedic next week just to check things out, but he is making progress every day. Not many of my pics were good today, so I'm only gonna post these 4. We are heading to Alex City tomorrow for Ford's travel baseball team to play. Tomorrow night we will say goodbye to our good friends Shannon and Sonny and their kids who will be moving to Huntsville. Boo Hoo!

We had a great day surrounded with family! After our trip to the pool, my cousin's wife Jennifer and her mom and kids stopped by on their way to the beach. They are spending the night with mom and dad to break the trip up. John and Jennifer have the cutest kids!!! They all had a blast feeding the ducks and playing in the backyard. We will be sorry to see them go tomorrow. Mom and dad treated us all to take out from Zoe's Kitchen(my fav where I eat twice a week). Ford and David missed out on most of the fun due to baseball practice.
There are lots of updates below. I had my camera on me all day.
AW's "David face". It looks JUST like him!
lookin' for turtles...
This little guy cracks me up!! he asked me if a Poinsettia was poisonous. I told him that is was, but only if you ate a large amount. He then asked me if he touched the leaf and put it in his mouth, would that be poisonous? So precious!!
