Thanksgiving Day!

We went to Missy and Gerald's for Thanksgiving this year. My whole family and David's family got together this year. As usual, Missy was the "hostess with the mostest"!! The kids had a ball playing together and it was a relaxing day.
David and Will wrestling on the floor at Mom's...

This little sweeter...

has a fever...
Bless her heart.
But, I have SO enjoyed getting to snuggle with her all day...
No, I haven't gotten my house clean....
No, I haven't taken a shower, although that has to come later b/c I have a date tonight. ;-)
Yes, we have watched entirely too much Dora, Franklin, Little Bear....
Yes, she is eating M&M's for taking her Tylenol chewable. They taste NASTY folks...
Yes, I need to run errands....
Yes, the boys have a game tomorrow that I'm going to miss...

But, I'm so thankful for her,
and her hugs,
and her, "I love you Mommy!" 's

Prayers of a child...

So... AW has had some "deep" prayers during this past year. I don't like the "God is great" prayers because they take away any thinking a child has to do. They have been saying, "God is great..." at school lately so that has been what she wants to pray...at the table, at bedtime, etc. Last night we all congregated in the boy's room to say our prayers together as a family. Ann Welch "volunteered" to pray first and she began, "God is great...". David told her to say a "real" prayer(sorry if this offends). So, she began, "I pwedge awwegiance to the fwag"... :-)

Trip to Nene and Papa Jack's...

Mom and I drove to Tuscumbia this past weekend to visit my grandparents. Ann Welch and Copeland came with us and David and Ford stayed home(but missed us terribly :-) ). Christine, Will, and Walker met us there from Nashville. We had the best time and I really enjoyed getting to see my grandparents and nephews. We ate at the Palace, which is a hamburger and milkshake old fashioned diner. The kids always LOVE it!! It was BITTER cold this weekend so we planned indoor activities such as destroying Nene's house and taking a trip to see Madagascar 2. Here are some pics from the trip...

Christine and me...

I mean, could this little guy BE any cuter??? I love the hooded minky coat look. It is SO "IN"!! haha!!
All the kids(don't look Len) sucked down a milkshake from the palace.

Fall Festival...

Monday was Fall Festival at ACA. Do you think I got any pics of my boys? Um, no. I paid for Ford and all he did was play football the whole time...no booths, no inflatables, no pony ride... On the other hand, Ann Welch was in hog heaven with all the activities. Copie had a great time too, he just ran from place to place and never stopped.

Hunkalicious was so sweet to share his snow cone. He decided he didn't want it anymore after a few licks and gave it to Ann Welch. Ann Welch had a few licks and then the top of the snow cone fell to it's death...
