Third annual girl's beach weekend!

I love my friends! We just got back from a wonderful no-kids weekend at the beach. These precious girls are all from my Church. We laughed all weekend. We ate, shopped, saw a chick flick, shopped some more, stayed up REALLY late, slept late, etc.

Seriously, I don't know what I would do with out these girls in my life!! Our husbands are wonderful for keeping the kids all weekend. They never complain! :-)

Here we are outside of Firefly in PCB...

Sickness...Training...Roll Tide

I mentioned in an earlier post that David and I(along with a few friends) are running in the Seaside 1/2 Marathon in March. I actually ran 8 miles on Saturday. IT WAS HARD! My husband, who runs 8-10 miles all the time, told me it is supposed to be hard. Okay...good to know. I don't know how I'm going to run 9.5 next Sat. I am also trying to lose some weight before this run. I started South Beach Phase one and lasted one week b/c it totally zapped my energy. I did lose 5 lbs, though. I'm now just eating smaller portions and lower calories. Has anyone tried Wendy's Grilled Chicken Go Wrap?? It is delicious and only 250 calories. It's very filling.

The boys are home sick today with fevers. They've been snuggling in MY bed with the dog all morning. :-)Time to wash the sheets, ugg! I'm sure it's just a matter of time before A Dub gets it too. I was listening to her sing in the bathtub yesterday, "you died on the cross...and saved us from our sins...in a one horse open sleigh." LOVE HER!!
Copeland took this pic of Dix. The newness of having a dog HAS NOT WORN OFF. They still fight over her. They have found that Build-a-bear clothes fit her. Poor thing. Here she is on Rose Bowl day with and Alabama Football jersey on. ROLL FREAKIN TIDE!!! During the game, my sweet Copie dressed up as a cowboy and rooted for Texas. We cut him out of the will.
